taking out friends' sons........

On Thursday, we traveled down to SLO and stopped in at Cal Poly- SLO. We picked up Kegan and Aaron on campus and took them out to lunch at the Firestone Grill (they may have the worlds best tri-tip beef sandwiches there). We had a great time with these two fine young men. They are the sons of our good friends Denise and Steve Haerr & Dale and Barbie Borgeson.
What's not to like............free food at a non campus eatery!!??

Cambria and elephant seals

We originally wanted to hike around the San Simeon area, but rain and fog had other ideas.
So we enjoyed a great lunch and walk at the beautiful art colony of Cambria.

Next we went just north of San Simeon, where the female elephant seals are in.

Always a good sight and.............smell!!!???
