Happy Birthday Fred

Sept. 15, 2006 We cruised towards Cologne this morning and passed the bridge at Remagen, Germany- it has quite a WWII history.
We bused into the center of Cologne after lunch and had a guided tour of the Cologne Cathedral- again, quite a place. But, Cologne is definitely a large city, compared to the nice small cities and towns that we have been visiting these past few weeks.
We had a birthday cake for Fred's *&£%^ birthday and everyone there at dinner sang to him (see pic). After dinner, we had a "ships guest talent show", which to staff was able to watch. Those Auzzies' are quite an outgoing lot!! It ended with a congo line and singing "Waltzing Matilda"..........

Meals-
breakfast- is a buffet for two hours or you can order what you'd like- open seating.
lunch- is a semi-buffet where the buffet is first for the appetizer and salads then last for the desert. For the entree, we order off a menu of three items or old standbys like cheeseburger with fries, etc.- this is open seating.
dinner- all seating is at the same time and ordered off the evening menu. It is always with local wines and selected table seating. All the food is wonderful- as witnessed by my short belt!!??
