Regensburg

Sept. 9, 2006 We had a really sad announcement this morning, one of the Australian men had passed away over the night. This trip does not have the clientel who take the Mexican Riviera cruises from San Diego, so like it or not, it's not really a great surprise. I'm sure everyone is doing a great deal of reflecting.............
Our stop today is in Regensburg. We'll see a lot of pure German Gothics here, where we have been seeing a lot of Baroque.

We had a good walking tour. The town is all abuzz because the Pope is visiting here tomorrow. He used to be a professor in the university and his brother is the director of the Regensburg Boys Choir which is over 1000 years old.
After a little time in town, we came back to the ship for a small concert by past members of the Boys Choir- they were really good.
If you'd like to see about our ship and trip, go to www.adadeuswaterways.com and look for the 14 (16) day trip on the Amadagio which starts in Budapest or just go backwards from the one the starts in Amsterdam.
