Budapest- it used to be two cities, Buda and Pest

Sept. 4, 2006 We stayed over night in Budapest and went for a tour in the morning. We visited the castle district, the main square called Vorosmarty, the pedestrian street know as the Vaci Utca, the famous thermal baths of th Gellert Hotel, the promenade along the Danube River and Erzsebetvaros district. It was pretty good, but not as nice as Prague.
After a dinner of Hungarian goulash, the ship departed for Bratislava, Slovakia and we enjoyed the city lights of Budapest as we left.
