who has ever heard of Passau??

Sept. 8, 2006 The Danube starts in the Black Forest and continues 1,795 miles to the Black Sea. It is a royal river and is Europe's second longest.
We mostly had a cruise day today, as a large Australian contingent took a side trip to Salzburg. Actually we were ready for some down time and more Pinochle!! The Auzzies' caught up with us in Passau, which again is a beautiful little town- now another one of our favorites.
We had another great walking tour of a Passau and Carol and I went off with Judy and Paul for a little shopping and some more people watching over a local bier at a street side cafe. That evening, we had a local Bavarian Folklore show (song and dance)- at the end of the show, Judy and Paul "volunteered" to do some Bavarian dancing.
