final cruise day

Sept. 16, 2006 We have finally arrived in Amsterdam- with sadness as our cruise terminates, with surprise that our journey is at its halfway point and with expectation as we meet your friends in the Netherlands.
We had a short bus tour of Amsterdam then continued with a longer canal cruise throughout the city.
Prior to our final dinner aboard the Amadagio, we had the Captain's cocktail hour with a reintroduction of the entire crew along with awards for special merit. Following the main dinner course, we were all treated to "Flaming Amadagio" for dessert.
Our final tour was a night time venture into the famous "red light district" of Amsterdam. Certainly many interesting observations were made considering the ware/wear presented.
