We're staying at another 1000 Trails right on the ocean.

Here we are at Lake Quinault while traveling up to Olymic NP.

 

Though they are in a slight drought, Dan's looking at the rain guage at Quinault Lodge. The average rainfall for a year is over 15'................yes, that's 15 feet!!!! with a record of over 18'.........
but it's only 7' right now.....
