San Quintin Bay, here we come.........

May 25, Friday This morning we started our Valley Wide Kayak Club sponsored paddle with Marie Humphrey of FAMILY KAYAK ADVENTURE CENTER to San Quintin Bay, Mexico. We were pieces of eight.

Our forever wonderful leader/ guide Marie-
Colin - Barbara- Pat and Karen (w/ Marie)- George and Linda- and me-

It was a five hour drive to San Quintin in Marie's suburban with her trailer holding all our boats. Our first stop was San Miguel for a pit stop.
Finally arriving, we crossed a sandy peninsula and launched from a small Mexican fish camp.

We paddled across the bay to our own deserted peninsula. We passed some kite surfing on the way over, then stuck our paddles in the sand and declared this small estuary "Campo Relaxo".

This small area became our kitchen, living room, dining room and recreation room. This is my tent with a view. Across the bay you could see volcanic mounts. By now, we're pretty hungry, so Pat started cooking dinner. After some "after dinner talk" and some magic presented by "Colin the Great", we all turned in at-----------------8:11 PM !!!!!
