Day 2- Ise Shima National Park

After a sightseeing cruise through Toba Bay National Park, we visited the Mikimoto pearl island and watched the women pearl divers at work.

Another cruise on a large, pirate ship took us through Ago Bay National Park where we meandered through the dozens of oyster beds that rimmed the surrounding islands.

After docking, a hotel shuttle transported us to the Shima Kanko Hotel, which had a strong Japanese influence and overlooked the bay and oyster beds.  We enjoyed an elegant, five-course, French gourmet dinner in the hotel restaurant, La Mer.
